Thread jamming on the bottom of fabric

Everything was working fine and then the thread started jamming up on the bottom side of the material. Took everything out and cleaned (even oiled the parts) and it is still occuring. Using the same bobbin that has worked fine before.

The tension must have gotten loose during use, try adjust the tension on the thread, and the bobbin casing.

Be sure to thread your machine with the foot down and needle up, or the top thread will slip and fall off the bobbin because you missed catching one of the thread guides.

I created "birds' nests" on the bottom of my work over and over until I realized this was the problem!

I've tried everything but cotton keeps on looping from under the material

Make sure you are using a brand-new needle and that is installed with the flat side facing the correct direction.

Remove the upper thread from the machine. ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread the upper thread. Verify the thread path is correct. Set the thread tension at the midway point between high & low number.

Lower the presser foot, retest the stitch quality on scrap fabric and adjust the upper thread tension until the upper thread and bobbin thread meet in the middle of the fabric.

The bottom stitching looks like a line and not stitches the top stitching is fine

try adjusting the top thread tension and see if that helps
also try changing the thread.
also change the needle--make sure it's the right needle for the fabric
being sewed.

Brother 1100 threading the bobbin

try changing the needle
rethread the machine top and bobbin
make sure to use every thread guide
make sure the top thread has not come off the thread take up
lever--this can cause the sewing machine to jam
if it's a top loading bobbin--take the bobbin out of the bobbin case
and turn it around and reinsert the bobbin
if it's a side or front loading bobbin take the bobbin and bobbin
case out and make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the
bobbin case and that the bobbin case is inserted correctly into the
sewing machine.

Top thread tangled in bobbin.

try changing the needle---flat side goes to the back side of the machine
also check the top tension
depending on the fabric your sewing on--the needle & thread have to work
with the fabric--example light fabric needs a different needle & thread than
a heavy fabric
check to see if the thread is coming off the thread take up lever when you
sew.

Janome mini heavy duty sewing machine

when you sew keep a eye on the thread take up lever & see if the thread comes off while your sewing, I've had this happen to me & I've been sewing for over 30 years. if this does happen, take a pair of pliers & very gently close the take up lever just alittle but not enough to damage it.
also check the needle to see if it's damaged--if your not sure change the needle--flat side goes to the back of the machine
always make sure the fabric & needle & thread are compatable--the thread must be able to pull thru the needle with out any problem
also check to make sure there are not any burrs on the needle plate or bobbin or bobbin case

If it was sewing correctly BEFORE the needle break...why did the needle break in the first place?...and what fixes did you make?
If it sewed properly...what changed?

Cut your upper thread close to the spool...make sure the presser foot is raised and pull the cut off thread section through/out of the machine from the needle area (sewing direction...do not pull the thread backwards!)

Clean out the bobbin area...remove any traces of lint or pieces of thread...look for any broken off needle pieces... brush the bobbin area out....then add a drop of sewing machine oil (but only if your manual says to oil that area).

Remove the needle plate to expose the feed dogs...brush/clean out that area too and add a drop of sewing machine oil...then secure the needle plate back on.
Replace the needle...do it again...yup...some needles arrive bad from the factory. Make sure the needle is inserted and positioned properly. Then thread the machine WITH the presser foot in raised position. (The thread needs to get seated into the upper tensions.)
..with the.presser foot down...thread the new needle.
Oh...and use the correct needle for the thread. (a universal 80/12 is standard).
Thread can cause issues too. Try a different bobbin, or maybe a different spool of thread to see if that makes a difference.

Balance wheel is totally jammed

machine was working fine when suddenly it just jammed up. Everything seems to be fine, but the balance wheel is completely jammed rigid. I've looked at the shuttle and there are no thread jams at all. The needle moves fine from side to side with different stitch selections, but wont go up and down with the wheel.
I have tried looking in the machine, but I can't find any thread jammed.
