Question about Polycom SoundPoint IP 550 IP Phone
Trying to set up 4 digital lines on a Polycom SounPoint 550 with RingCentral.com VOIP service, the lines are registered on the phone, the problem is that the phone is only showing 1 line, the first one, would anyone know what needs to be done?
On the phone, press the menu button, then status, then IP status or whatever and get the phone's IP address. Write the ip address down. On your computer, open up a web browser and input the phone's IP address into the address bar and press enter. This should arrive you at the web gui for that phone. It'll probably ask you for login credentials; by default, the name is "Polycom" (yes , it is case-sensetive) and the password is 456. Once you are logged in, you should see several links like "General" "Network" "Sip" and "Lines". click on Lines. under "line 1", you will see the configuration for that line. simply duplicate the entries for lines 2, 3, and 4.
