SOURCE: How do I delete my current Amazon Account

You do not have to delete your account.
Go to My Account and scroll down the screen a bit until you see 'Settings' in brown text on the left. Looking immediately to the right now, select (in blue text) 'Change Account Settings' (click on that). On the page that appears at the top is a box which offers the option to change about 4 things - one is 'E-mail' - click on the Edit button for that item, and follow instructions.
If you must close your account Amazon say "To close your account, please contact us to request that your account be closed."

How do delete archived Amazon orders?

Im not sure if you can delete but they do go after a few years as Amazon only retains a few years history, But I think there is a section where you can Hide your orders Not sure where but it will be in your Amazon Account hope this helps

Mary, You are not asking this on Amazon, but on Fixya.
You have to login to amazon and ask there.
You can fine support for the Kindle, but also for your account.

How do i delete books

I think the new update on the kindle has it to where you have to login to your kindle account on Amazon, and remove it from your device that way. It is not taking up any space on your kindle now' it may just be the book cover, but login to your amazon account and remove that book from your selected Kindle.

Deleted mistake

If you only deleted from your device you may still have access to it on the Amazon site; check your account and see if it is listed there; you may be able to download it again on that same device. You can also contact Amazon customer support directly; they're pretty good about that sort of thing.

Accidentally deleted a b ook I just bought

If you deleted it from the Kindle it will still be on your Amazon account in your archive/cloud.

From your HOME page click Cloud/Archive, possibly sort by most recent, touch the book title and download it again to your kindle.

If you deleted it using MANAGE MY ACCOUNT then you will need to contact Amazon Customer Services using the HELP button. They may help you if it's rare event.
