Question about Samsung CLX 3160fn All-In-One Printer
Following the instruction manual, I unplugged the printer, and turned it back on. It worked for a few hours. Now the same error is back and turning on an off does not help. I also removed the imaging unit and transfer unit and re-seated both, thinking that would help. I have read many on-line posts with different solutions. No one seems to have the definitive answer! Will I need a new imaging unit or transfer belt? I replaced these within the last 6 months. The folks at Samsung are useless and I am beginning to hate this printer more every day! Any suggestions that REALLY WORK?
To start the printer must be cleaned internally, as dirt may cause the Deve Home sensor malfunction.
If that does not work, in that case a Deve Home sensor may be faulty. In this case Samsung suggest that there is a problem with the fuser unit and they say to call support.
As far as I know Deve Home sensor is often caused by toner contamination and dirt inside the printer.
