Zanussi zuf270x main oven not getting hot

Hi, I have this oven, just out of warranty, and the main (bottom) oven for some reason isn't gettng hot. the light comes on, but not heat whatsoever.

Is this a relatively simple fix, and if so, which part should I be looking for?

Many thanks
Dylan.

I've just mended this myself and it took about 15 mins:-)
It's more than likely the heating element, you can get one off the internet for about £20 if you go for the electrolux replacement.
Open oven door and remove the trays, undo the four small screws on the back wall inside - not sure if you have to, but I turned the power off at this point. Better safe than not! Turn this around to the right wall as it won't come right out due to the bit of wire on the right (temp sensor maybe?).
If you've already got the new element you can guess what happens next; take out the 3 small screws holding in the element and gently pull towards you. It's attached to two wires poking out of two holes - take the bottom one off first as it seemed to have less tendency to fall back in the hole (I reckon that could be a real pain to get back).
Hold the wire still and wiggle the old element to remove as you will have less chance of damaging the wire that way. Reconnect the wires to the new element and pop it back together again.
Job done and after a year of waiting we now have double the oven space!

If it is a fan assisted oven, and the fan is working o/k, then I would suspect that the oven element has failed, and will need to be replaced.

Thanks.

My zanussi zbf360 will not heat up in the oven ,the fan works fine as you can hear it and the grill still works ,any ideas what it can be ,

This tutorial will show you how to check your Zanussi element and how to replace your Zanussi cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Zanussi manual.
  2. If you're Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Faulty main oven

If the fan is working in the oven, and it is electrically heated, then it will be a faulty oven element.
This is located at the rear of the oven behind a removeable cover.

Main oven not heating.

You need to replace a faulty main oven element.
This is done by removing the rear cover in the main oven,
there you will see the element, disconnect and replace.
It is not a difficult job , and is not too expensive.
Plz frate my solution.
THANKS.
