SOURCE: Panasonic DMR- EA18 DVD player/recorder - Remote control Problem

I figured out, unlike all the other posts, you don't have an enter button. But Instead, you would hit the 2 and OK button at the same time for a few seconds. I had the RC1 message and I did the 1 with OK and it worked. so if you have RC2, you should hit the 2 and OK. Should work!!

The dog ate the remote which is product code EUR7720x90 (no longer in production). I have a ONE for all remote which works on my panasonic TV. How can I program the remote for my DVD player as well?

If you have a universal remote which you use for your TV you may not be able to set this up to control your DVD as well. It depends on the design of the product you have. There are basic units and other much more complex units with many functions and capabilities.

You need to check the user instructions which came with the universal remote you have to see what it can and cannot be set up to operate.

Panasonic blu-ray remote ir6 not working

Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If the remote control is found OK; check and replace the infra-red sensor inside the TV. Contact any service technician

Panasonic blu ray set 1 Remote Controls -ir6

There is no substitute remote control for any Blu-Ray players. You must have its original one to work proper with it. Contact the nearest authorized service center for Panasonic at your town, to buy an original one.

I entered,in error, Command mode 3 on the set up and now the remote control won't operate the machine. The display keeps showing DVD 1,how do I restore things?

Try this (works for Panasonic) - remove the batteries from the remote (as if to replace them with new ones), press any button on it to clear its buffer, then re-insert them (if they are reasonably fresh). Point remote at unit, press 1 and ENTER/OK buttons together - hold for 10 seconds, then release. This should restrore the command back from remote to the unit, and it should now fully operate. Just something to try, it may work.

Many Panasonic DVD recorders operate on the same principle; there are 3 remote command mode settings (default is DVD1) - so it's very easy to make errors in setup, but just as easy to correct.

My Onkyo DR90 DVD Remote Will Not Operate Components

Your Onkyo DR90 DVD Receiver remote control does not have universal remote functions, and cannot be (easily) programmed to control a Panasonic DMR ES15. Your DR90 remote does have a limited learning function, but it is designed to learn the codes from your TV's remote to control the TV. Only the following buttons are programmable by the TV Learning function:

I hope that helps.

Remote controle

Easy to fix. The DMR E55 has 3 remote control code settings and your remote can be set for any one of them. The error you are getting at the moment means that your remote is set for one code but your DMR E55 is set for another. Why do Panasonic do this? The reason that Panasonic do this, is because if you have several Panasonic units, you can operate one of them from your remote without all of them responding at the same time. Ok, so how is it fixed? Turn on your DMR E55 and press FUNCTIONS then select SETUP. Then select OTHERS. You will see the remote option on the right which will say DVD 1 or DVD 2 or DVD 3, Try setting it to a different code and press return. You should get it to work...
