What is my right if my phone & internet provider has disconnected the ADSL copper line and forced me to change to nbn, but can't set it up after 2 attempts within 25 days? I'm caring for my elderly parents (83 & 73 years of age) who don't speak English and can't use mobile phones. Since 13th of Oct our landline phone & internet has been disconnected and I was booked for 2 appointments, for which the same issue: infrastructure shortfall stopped the installation, but neither TPG (my internet provider) nor NBN are handling the case as emergency. They just apologies and ask me to wait for another 5 business days, till 8th of November. I can't stay & work from home as internet is disconnected and am worried about my parents who don't even have the possibility to call 000. When I ask TPG why they disconnected the copper line before testing the NBN connection or making sure that there is no issue they told me that it was Telstra who decommissioned the copper line as NBN is available in the area / our building. I took 2 days off and waited for technician, but in none of the cases TPG even gave me a call to inform me about the issue. While I was choosing the phone package on 13th of Oct and couldn't imagine what it might mean, I accepted the Customer Service Guarantee Waiver, as I didn't think it will take so long without anybody taking action or care. My question is how can I expedite the installation as right now I don't see anybody cares about my case and my elderly parents. Where can I complain as I did it with NBN as well as TPG but I was told that nobody will take action about it? How can I get the compensation despite signing for Customer Service Guarantee Waiver? Would appreciate your support as I desperately need internet and phone connection. Kind regards Nahid

SOURCE: Poor after sale service

I was also interested in LG products AC's and related products, I can list others and make all their related names a black listed production rip off, lacking service, quality or consumer respect. But I need to work with helping customers and not get in the middle.
 You helped me today and I think you know what to do as far as letting them know that what they are doing will come back to bite them in the end.
I know I haven't helped you, as I do not represent them or plan to do so in the future. Your complaint has been heard and you do have a voice. I agree with you about your complaints so please understand that I'm on your side with this issue, Thanks, Sea Breeze

How to enable my netgear DG834G v4

By setting it up . Do you have the instruction manual this would be a good starting point. Although you did not give a lot of information I will offer you a bit of information. This router is an ADSL router so you need to have an internet service provider that can provide ADSL on your phone line. Once you have an internet service provider give them a call and ask them to guide you in how to set up ADSL and connect this dg834G router to their network. ADSL requires ADSL line filters on all phones. While you are setting up the ADSL you might want to also setup encryption on the WI FI settings security and give it a network name. in the router.

Definition of ipadsl

Hi. the definition of IPADSL is :

Internet
Protocol
Asynchronous
Digital
Subscriber
Line

I think what you are referring to is a fixed IP address, using adsl services

Your internet provider can either assign you a static/fixed ip address, or gave it be dynamic, or random.
If it is dynamic, it gets set new everytime your computer begins it's interface with your router.

An adsl modem is the type of modem that allows for high data rate transfers over standard copper lines that are associated with the telephone system.
Usually these lines do not carry high bandwidths of data, but an asdl modem aloows for multiple layers of data at once.

When my home phone rings my internet disconnects

You need to make sure that you have an ADSL line filter connected before any home telephone or DECT base station (eg. a filter is required on the line between your physical telephone device and phone socket). This can also be achieved via a central ADSL phone line splitter.

---------- ADSL Filter -----> Telephone Handset 1 or DECT base station
<--- main telephone line --/
\-----------------------------------> ADSL Modem/Router ---> Computer
\----------ADSL Filter -----> Telephone Handset 2

Hope it helps: let me know how you go.

I cannot get an internet signal while connected through my router

if the ADSL led is on (=adsl signal found ok) then
most likely you got the username / password wrong.
this is 90% the cause of a "no - internet connection"
the easyest way to solve it is to call your internet providers helpdesk as they can see in their computers the satus of your connection (and many other technical details) and will guide you to solve this.

now if the ADSL led is off (=adsl signal not detected on phone line) then check the cables / connections from your wall telephone socket to the adsl filter and to your router.
also check if you forgot to put a filter in every phone (or fax etc) you might have in your home. also check if you have a faulty telephone set somewhere in your house (better disconnect them to be sure). if all ok then, call your providers help-desk.

Zoom router

Have you tried configuring the ADSL modem router for the internet connection?
Its possible that since you have changed the ADSL modem router, you may have to configure the ADSL modem router for it to work fine. The configuration depends on what Internet provider you have but you may try these steps for now:

1. Make sure the connections are correct. Connect the computer to the LAN port and the ADSL line to the port assigned for that behind the device.
2. Launch an Internet browser and access http://10.0.0.2 and press enter. If a dialog box appears, set the user name as admin and password as zoomadsl and press enter.
3. On the basic setup page of the ADSL router, set the appropriate encapsulation and other settings based on the settings of your provider. If you do not know the settings for your provider, there is a table specified on the user guide for the ADSL router. Here is the link: http://zoom.com/documentation/adsl/5590_UserGuide_EngD.pdf
