What sort of tv do you have, is it new? If its new it may well have an Hdmi connection which gives you the sweetest graphics....
If your tv is older you probs have a scart connection, the yellow lead carries the video signal, some tv's have three little socket that the red yellow and white leads plug into if you cant find anywhere to plug it in you will need one of these , a scart adaptor

(thats just an example of what one looks like, you can buy them all over)
THe red white and yellow cables plug into the scart adaptor which usually plugs in the back of your tv, done

I'm pretty sure you can buy something for this. My family got a flatscreen but it didn't have the red yellow and white plugs so we got a new cable that connects to the tv with the different colors that it needed, and it worked.

Connecting Alba DVD to Toshiba TV

If the TV has the red, white and yellow sockets on it you can use an adapter. It's a scart plug on one end (for the DVD player) and 3 little round sockets on the other, usually red, white and yellow, sometimes red, black and yellow, like this:Amazon.
Then you need an audio/video lead with red, white and yellow plugs on both ends like this:Amazon

Or one of these:Amazon

You could also use a multi socket scart adapter to add more scarts to your TV:Amazon

I am trying to install ROKU video streamer into my Sharp TV model 27KS300. Roku says to plug their red/yellow/white RCA cable into the video in ports on your TV. I do this but nothing happens. I am...

Yes these are the same yellow white and red ports that you would use to connect your DVD player. I believe this television has one port in the front and one in the back. I might be wrong but I believe video 1 is in the back and video 2 is in the front. If you have tried video 1 and video 2 making sure you have pressed the video/input button to select the proper one after connecting your Roku then you have done everything properly. Make sure to try a different RCA cable to make sure it is not the cable that is causing the problem. Also try the Roku on a different television because if it is working on a different television with the same RCA cable then you'll know that it isn't compatible with this particular television.

Need to know how to hook up to tv

Most DVD players connect using composite cables also known as RCA cables. Usually you will have a yellow port (video feed) and white port (audio feed) on the dvd player. The red lead is another audio lead to be used with units that provide stereo audio capability. Simply connect one end to the DVD unit and the oother to the TV inputs of the same color. You must use the in ports on the tv not the out ports if so equipped. Then you will have to tune the tv to the proper input that you connected to by using the input button on remote, going into the menu and changing input there, or you may have to channel the tv down past 00 to get to the inputs.
Hope this helps.

HDMI DVD units are the same except the connecting media is different therefor the inputs would be HDMI 1, HDMI 2 or DVI etc.

Super Nintendo

I'll just tell you how to set it up with an RF cable.

1: Plug the power adapter in an outlet and plug the other side in the designated spot where it fits. Simple.

2: On the back of the SNES, there should be a switch that says channel 3 or 4. Whatever one the switch is at, it will be the channel to play it at.

3: From where it says "NES CONTROL DECK" on the RF switch, plug that into the SNES.

4: From where it says "TV" on the RF switch, screw it into the supplied ports on the TV. Note that newer TV's don't have this port.

You probably don't need to bother with the antenna port.

Enjoy the SNES! :)
