SOURCE: 36" Wolf induction cooktop cannot get past show

Hello John..... Call the store and ask them what code is needed for this model. They put it in showroom mode and they should have taken it out of showroom mode before it left the store. Shame on them. Joe

THanks for choosing Fixya!

Cook top not heating up unless i put it on high

It's probably the control. Some of them have little heaters in them that heat up a bi-metal which cycles the element off and on to get infinite heat control. That's usually the problem. The last one I replaced cost about $20.

What do error codes E51, E52, and E53 indicate?

This link lists the error codes for your cooktop: Needapplianceparts com

Specifically, it's a "sensor break" in your front and center burners.
The solutions they recommend:
* Verify element temperature sensor is correctly connected to the generator circuit board
* Replace element if temperature sensor resistor value is not approximately 1000 ohms (blue wires) at room temperature
* Replace associated generator circuit board

Induction hob switching off

check that the hob is wired correctly underneath 1,2,3 should be linked together as live 4,5 as neutral and earth takes its place as earth,

if it is wired correctly then i m afraid the hob needs a new induction element it is all one complete unit on these hobs not seperate so your looking at £1000 + to fix it plus engineer call out charges
