SOURCE: E1 Error code - no leaks - new pump - new pc board in Dec. 09

The most common reason for an E1 error on an LD dishwasher (that does not have a leak, including directly under the dishwasher) is the drain hose between the dishwasher and the drain does not have a rise in it between the DW and the drain. Either install a proper AirGar valve or attach the hose to the bottom of the counter top so that it raises 30" between the DW and the drain. When that raise does not exist, the laws of physics tell you that you WILL have a siphoning effect from the DW into the drain, causing the LG to report error code "E1", which is true because of the water leaving the DW during all the wash and drain cycles.
Good Luck!

I had exactly the same problem. After removing the back panel, I checked the two wires that go into the thermostat, they came away with no problem (not a good thing). Both of the wires were very brittle. I restripped them back and put two new connectors on, the problem was solved. Sounds obvious but make sure you turn the power off!

Whirpool front load codes fault F1 & 5b what does this mean?

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.

"F21" (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

I bought a Whirlpool double oven AKZ161 and error code F03 appear

On this model, F03 indicates a faulty power control board (also known as the "Capricorn" board by Whirlpool technicians). A new oven with no guarantee? There is usually a reason something has no guarantee, in your case, a faulty control board. It is a relatively expensive part unfortunately.
You can try disconnecting from power, removing top panel from oven. The large square electronic board you see on the top of oven is the power control board. Check all plug connections are OK, especially the large thin multi plug that goes to the display board- I have had a poor connection at this plug causes F03 faults. If still no go, power control board will need replacing

Whirlpool Duet will not work

Hi, you could have a control fault here or a door lock mechanism failure as well. the best way to find out if its ether the control or the door lock that may be faulty, is to unplug the unit for 5 minutes. this will drain all power from the control board, in return, resetting the program.

After the five minutes are up, simply switch your circuit breaker to the on position or plug the unit back in. If the control is working correctly, you should see a error code that says FdL(Failed door lock). If the control simply continues to malfunction like it was previously, this will confirm a major fault within the control board(microcomputer).

In this case, you will have to replace the control board in this unit. Remember, after the reset, power up the unit and watch the led and control panel carefully for any error codes. if the error code display is not functional, it will confirm control failure.

If you get an error code(FdL), check the wiring harness that connect the door lock mechanism to the control board. make sure they are in good condition and not lose. if the wires are ok, replace the door lock mech.

Please rate and god bless:)
