wii sports work perfect with 1,2 and 3 players but when i put fourth player on the game freezes.

- Same problem - WII sports - works when only 1 or 2 players are selected, but once a third and/or fourth players selcted, the system freezes. No way to recover except to unplug the WII, wait a minute, plugin, and restart. The problem is repeated everytime I select more than 2 players. Didn't have that problem when I first got the WII (in April 2007). Worked fine for several months. Never performed any software update since I never configured it within my home network. Not sure what changed in order to cause this issue. Looking for any help - otherwise, I am going to have to contact Nintendo and see what they can offer. 11-27-2007- Guest

I had this problem. I figured out what caused it. I last played 4 player with a set of 4 miis. I then deleted one of the miis which was 4th player on the last game. Everytime i tried to start a new 4 player game, it would fail to find this mii and freeze. I recreated a mii with the same name, and then it went through.

I'm having this exact same problem. Got a new Wii Sports from Nintendo and that didn't work. I did a system update and it seemed to fix the problem but now it's back.

Why don't you just take it to Best Buy or where ever you got it from and then exchange it or you could return it and git your $ back!!!!!!!and rate this Fix Ya please!!!!!

I had a similar problem with Wii Sports. In my case it would lock with 2 players. It seems to of occurred because of a corrupt data file where the wii stores game data. If you delete the data file for Wii sports under the Wii memory manager it may clear the problem.
