Check the pitch selection slide switch on the L. of the keyboard it may be in PS it should be in 10 or 12.

On thr L. side of the keyboard is a slide switch for pitch. It should be in 10 or 12 not in PS. Also slide it up and down they do get dirty.

SOURCE: How do you set margins

This has been out here for a while so I'll try. Generally speeking go to the margin, press but don't hold the mar rel key space or backspace to the desired location, press R. or L. margin key.

The keys on my old manual olympia typewriter keep getting stuck what can i do to resolve this. Do they need oiling or what?
Assuming that your Typewriter is non electric spray WD40 on all the mechanical pivot points especially in the segment where thr type bars swing.

Ribbon will not advance fully making letters overlap on the ribbon, so the next letter comes out light. Is there an adjustment for ribbon advance. We have looked all over on the boards and could not find...
If I remember correctly Code + comma (,) It may be the period(.) or slash(/) one of these should change the ribbon advance.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PRINTWHEEL LATCHED INTO PLACE AND THE RIBBON IS GOOD. OTHERWISE YOU PROBABLY HAVE A BAD MOTOR OR BOARD. TAKE TO A REPAIR SHOP
