Question about Dell E176FP 17" LCD Monitor
You may have a problem with the power supply board. On many LCD monitors after a few years the power supplies start failing. The problem is parts called capacitors start failing. They get damaged because of the heat trapped in the small spaces of the monitor case. You can take a look at a few pictures on our site at: www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm We also have a section with dis-assembly and repair instructions. Check it out, if you have more questions just email me. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we offer a repair service.
I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.
