You should ask the financial institution which emitted your credit card to fill the application. Procedure may vary from bank to bank.

My daughter set up my PayPal account with my bank details but when I tried to buy something but PayPal replied, we're sorry your PayPal balance and existing payments methods are insufficient to complete...

Make sure there are funds in your PayPal account. If not, transfer funds from your bank account to PayPal.
Existing payment methods include credit cards. Do you have credit cards linked to PayPal? If not, link at least one, it saves a lot of hassle.
PayPal used to transfer funds automatically from your bank acct to PayPal if the funds for a transaction were insufficient, but that has changed - you have to make sure your PP acct is in credit.

Change my credit card number

To no longer have use of a credit card number, while the account is still open and active, and to change that credit card number to a newly assigned number...

Call your credit card customer service number located on the back of that credit card, from an issued paper credit statement, or from the official credit card website. Mention that the existing credit card number has been compromised and that you need to change that number by canceling the existing card. The credit card company will then re-mail you another credit card with a newly issued credit card number.

In the past, MBNA credit cards had the ability to issue short term use pseudo credit card numbers that represented the existing account, but could only be used for a specific customized dollar amount. However, Bank of America no longer supports this function any more.

Paypal login to my account

The info provided in PayPal (Help) to remove a credit card info from your account, is as follows:
Here's how to remove a credit card:
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
  3. Click My money.
  4. Click Update beside Debit and credit cards.
  5. Select the credit card to remove and click Remove.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • You cannot remove a card if you have a pending transaction or if your card was the backup payment method for a recent instant bank payment. Wait a few days and try again.
  • You may not be able to remove your card if you have a negative balance in your PayPal account. In this situation, you must bring your balance to zero or higher to remove your card.
  • If you remove your only card and have a confirmed bank account, you'll no longer be able to make instant bank payments. Instead they'll be sent as eChecks, which take 3 to 4 working days to process.

You may not be able to remove your card if you have a negative balance in your PayPal account. In this situation, you must bring your balance to zero or higher to remove your card.

Cancel payments

Automated payments debited from your checking account or against your credit card can prove to be quite convenient.
Automatic debits can be payments for loans, life insurance premiums, cable bills, Internet service and many other transactions.
Sometimes you want these transactions stopped.
If you decide to open a new checking account the automatic debits should be discontinued from the old bank account.
The company responsible for the debits will need adequate notification to keep the debits from going through another month.

Review your bank account statement or credit card statement to see which automatic debits are going through.
You could have several automatic debit transactions deduction money from your bank account. Decide which ones you want to stop or cancel.
Locate the contact information for that particular merchant.
Call the merchant responsible for the automatic debit.
The toll-free customer service phone number should be on the merchant's statement.
Let the representative know you want the automatic debits stopped.
The representative will stop the automatic debits per your request.
Some companies need four or five days prior to the automatic debit.
Without adequate notice the automatic debit may occur one more time.
The following month you should not see the charge.

Send a letter to the merchant.
Sometimes it may be difficult to reach a merchant by phone; if this is the case, the website Credit Info Center recommends sending the merchant a certified letter with a return receipt.
It will take a little longer to get your charges stopped by mail.
Take a look at your bank statement.
Make sure the automatic debits have been cancelled.
If the charges continue, follow up with the merchant.
Ask for a confirmation letter confirming the automatic debits have been cancelled.

I have put an online shop in with e-commerce. To try it out I used my email address and got a page for payment which included using credit cards. When I out my clients email in I only get the Paypal...

To accept credit card payments natively at your website you must have a merchant account with your bank. Once you get it, you must comply bank rules on establishing payment processing (e.g. proper security setup). This is not easy.

Dont have credit card can still use paypal

You can use PayPal as a way to receive money without a credit card or debit card. Although if you have a bank account you want the money transferred to, you will need to have some way to transfer the funds through paypal using your account.
If you want to send money, you need your bank account/debit card/credit card linked to paypal.

How to set up my paypal account and so i can transfer money from my bank account into my paypal when i need to

You don't actually have to transfer money into your Paypal account from your regular bank account in order to pay with Paypal.

Just make sure that your linked bank account is confirmed as your PRIMARY FUNDING SOURCE in your Paypal account PROFILE SETTINGS.

Then whenever you make a purchase using your Paypal account, the necessary funds will be drawn directly from your regular bank account automatically by Paypal.

If you already have some money in your Paypal account, then Paypal will automatically use that money first, then take out whatever remaining balance is necessary from your Primary Funding Source bank account or credit card.

So in short, you don't have to worry about putting money into your Payypal account in order to make a purchase. Just make sure you have enough of a balance in your bank account or credit card to cover it and the money will be transfered automatically by Paypal, as long as that account or credit card is set as your Paypal Primary Funding Source in your Paypal account profile settings.

Good luck.

I have a new credit card account. The old visa account is expireing as of April 29,2010. I need to pay an invoice and I am having trouble doing it via paypal. Pllease help.

I'm not sure if you're posting this question in the right place but here are my suggestions based on the info you are providing in your question:

1. find out with your financial institution if they will be providing a replacement card, most financial institutions should do this automatically and advise of your creditors that a replacement card is being issued. you may need to contact them directly and let them know of any changes prior the expiration date but get the new card before.

2. if it's a matter of paying one invoice there are always alternative solutions that should work, a debit-credit card from your bank, a wire transfer from your bank account, a money order are widely accepted solutions.

3. get the payee to change the credit card for another credit card you may own or someone else's credit card that may allow you to use it temporary, you can always pay that person in cash for a couple of months until your get your credit card issue or paypal issue resolved.

4. have you tried to load your paypal account from your bank account, simply go to www.paypal.com, log in and under the load section you should be provided with links to load your paypal account from a bank account, have your bank account info ready.

I hope that helps!

Identity theft & forgery

If she's stealing money from you, contact the police and then your credit card companies.

If you know who this person is, and have proof of it, send the police to her house, and get them involved.

They're the only ones that can stop this sort of thing.

Just be sure you have valid proof, otherwise she can sue you for slander if it turns out that she's innocent.
