Norton 360 has the entire norton protection suite built into it. On top of the firewall, phishing protection, and e-mail protection it also has norton antivirus built right into it. So yes, you have to uninstall antivirus to install 360, but 360 just installs antivirus again. If you ever decide to go back to using just antivirus you can simply redownload it off their web site. SOURCE: installing norton anti-virus without internet connection
Yes it is possible.
To install full version you need either to purchase a disk or to purchase the download from Symantech.
If you have purchased the download or if you want to install the trial version download, just copy the install file onto an usb memory stick.
Plug the memory stick with norton install file onto your computer with no internet and run the installer from usb stick.
This will install norton with no need for the Internet.
If you buy nortom full version you may need to validate installation by phone, but that is not complicate.
You can download Norton from one of the websites below:

i hope you got norton off your system before putting AVG free on. Virus programs try to fight off other virus programs by postiong false virus claims to erase the other program. eventually they will kill your hard drive. You need a product key for a good virus protectant. Norton or CA offer good, reliable protection for your dollar. What i would do, is back up any really important stuff you have there, format your hard drive and install Vista again if you have the disc and then re-install it to permanetly delete viruses. Also your system maybe slow because VIsta needs at least a dual core processor and 2 GB RAM to work like a XP machine
