Try removing the cartridges, then unplug printer power cord, plug back , and restart.

Test different cartridges and look inside the printer for paper or foreign objects.

Try reinstalling printer software.

If still no luck, then test the printer on a different computer, installing software first. If it does not work, then the printer is faulty.

Hi,

I will suggest you try reset the printer, follow the instruction below to reset your printer, if the problem still persist, replace the cable that connects the printer to the power outlet. If that did not still fix the problem, you will need to reinstall the driver of the printer again.

1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold # and 6 keys.
3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys.
5. Follow on printer screen instructions.

If that did not fix the problem, try this,
  1. Unplug the power cable from printer while the printer is powered on.
  2. Press and hold OK and HELP buttons while plugging in the power cord. Wait for the screen to go black or blank before releasing the keys.
  3. Just turn on the printer and configure your printer new.

HP 2015dn paper jam light remains on; no paper jam

What is "cold" reset? Have you tried pulling the power cord out of the back of the PRINTER, wait one minute, and plug it back in. Wait another minute - that should do it.

HP deskjet F380 - 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam!

Unplug the power cord and while doing that make sure printer is powered on i mean do not turn off the printer using the power button. When you unplug the power cord than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Than release the power button and connect the power cord and then try to print.
