Heyup there folks,
i'm having real difficulty syncing my phone and pc.
I bought the phone on the three network at a heafty price aswell, to find it came with NOTHING! no pc suite, no cablesn no headphones NOT EVEN THE SILLY LITTLE STYLUS! all this i've had to buy adding to the cost, to find out you get everything on all the other networks!!! Anger is pouring through my viens. I bought a pretty big memory card, because i'm always taking photos, and i've got nearly a thousand on my phone, i put the cable in, "USB mass storage - Connected" comes up, but because i haven't got the blummin' software i don't know what to do from here.
I bought i bluetooth thingy [dongle i think] but i can only send one picture at a time, and i have to click the option of finding the picture, saving it etc etc... its rather a pharse when you have this many photos, i got to 37 and got bored, i cannot deal with it any more,
Also the memory card i bought, no matter what other device its put into, card reader, camera, other phone.. my pictures are NOT there.. only when put in my phone. And yes, i've checked they're actually on the external memory. Another thing, it's doesn't matter what memory card i use; my partner uses a micro SD as well for his nokia, i've put them on his memory card and put them into his phone, and HIS phone can't find them!!! HIGHLY STRESSFUL! Adding to the problem, the pictures are of my 6month old daughter, who is growning ever so quickly, so i want them on the PC ASAP! i wasnted to print them out and even the bloody machines with instant print can't find them! what a ball ache!
so can anyone please please please tell me what to do?

Re: PC SYNC & 3 NETWORK DRAMA
You might be better off looking for a printer/copier/scanner that has the card slots built in. that's what I use myself because it's alot easier than fighting with different installations for different cameras and phones
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

What difficulties are you having? If you have installed HTC Sybc on your PC and then connect your phone, you can go through the setup procedures to tell it you want to sync your pictures, music, contacts, calendar and so on. You have to tell it in the software what you want to synchronise or it won't do it. When you connect the phone, you must select HTC Sync and it should start copying things to the PC. When it is finished, you will have to go looking for the pictures! Mine appeared in a folder: "C:\Users\ThisUser\Documents\My Photos\Device Camera Shots\100MEDIA" which took some finding! So go into My Documents and see the folder called My Photos...have a look there.

Setting up HTC Sync to recognize your phone
After installing, set up HTC Sync to recognize your phone.
1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Accounts & sync.
2. On the Connect to PC screen on your phone, tap HTC Sync and then tap Done. Your phone attempts to find HTC Sync on your computer. Wait for a few seconds for the process to finish.
3. If your phone displays a message indicating that it's unable to find HTC Sync, try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable, and then repeat step 2.
4. When the Phone Connection Wizard is displayed on your computer, click Next. Enter the name you want for your phone, and then click Finish.
Check the HTC Sync icon at the bottom-right side of your computer screen. If it appears green in color, that means your phone has successfully connected with your computer and HTC Sync recognizes your phone
1-Do your research. There are many programs available that you can use to sync your LG cell phone and your PC. Go to your favorite search engine on the Web for more information.
2-Choose between the paid syncing devices or the data syncing software. Paid syncing devices require payment before you can use the data syncing service. If you use data syncing software you only need to download it. Whatever you decide, you will need to find a device or software that is compatible with the LG cell phone.
3-Make sure that you have a data cable that is compatible with the LG cell phone. The data cable is required to connect your LG cell phone to your PC. Visit the store where you purchased your LG cell phone or visit an online store such as Cell Phone Shop to find a data cable.
4-Connect your LG cell phone to your PC using the data cable. Follow the instructions that come with the data cable for proper connection.
5-Find the "PC sync menu" from the "Utilities" menu on your LG cell phone. This program allows you to synchronize the "PIM" or Personal Information Management between your computer and your LG cell phone, using a data cable.
6-Press "Ok" in the "PC sync" menu to begin exchanging data. Once you press "Ok "in the PC sync menu the selected data from your LG cell phone will be synchronized with your PC. Wait for the data to completely transfer before disconnecting your LG cell phone.
A couple of weeks ago bought a new Samsung Sync, so I took it to the
store so they can unlock it, they tell me it has 3 codes and that they
have only been able to remove 2..Then i go to the *#7465625# = Check the
locks (network, subset, etc) menu and it shows that it has 9 and all of
them are off except for the network lock, is this the third code i need?
if so where can i get it from?
I can tel you some other way to transfer music files into your phone instead of doin sync. Connect your phone to PC via USB. Now your phone will ask to select on eoption. Select Mass Storage. Now you click my computer in your PC & select memory stick drive there. this is a direct access into your phone memory stick. Select the music file you want & copy paste it into music folder in your memory stick.
I have the exact same setup with diffrent BB and now HTC on the ATT 3G network and my HTC are sync when Outlook is open in real time. When Outlook is closed they sync but many hours later??? Real frustrating. Any idea would be great.
