Hi, The reason for your candy dryer to make noise while spinning is that it could have something in the lint trap that pulls out of the top. Sometimes items fall down it there and make a loud scraping noise. If it is a squealing noise you will need to replace the rollers and belt pulley. They are sold in a kit and can be ordered with the model number.
If the dryer has a bearing at the back of the unit that could be bad or the glide under the front lip of the tub could be worn out and need to be replaced. Each unit requires different techniques to remove the parts but they are not super hard to get into and parts suppliers can get you pictures or diagrams. Thank you for contacting www.Fixya.com
