This may be a bit too late to help, but I've had some success drying out cameras and phones by placing the wet device into a bag of rice for a day or two. I assume the rice absorbs the water and sucks it out of the internal bits that would be otherwise impossible to reach.

Please do not try turning it on for the next 2 days as you may short the board.

Kindly leave it to dry after which you can try turning it on.

My olympus tough tg-310 got wet inside with salt water form the beach now it won't turn on please help.

There is very little that can be done, salt water will corrode metal on contact, all eletronic parts have been compromised, if the memory card is still intact save your pictures and remove it from the camera to transfer to new hardware. Replacing the camera unfortuneately is the only option.

My camera fell into a puddle of salt water on the beach . It was there for 5 minutes before I noticed it

Hi there!
There might be little difference between buying a new camera and having this digital camera repaired so I suggest you compare the price. But I'd rather buy a new camera than have this repair after what happened to the computer.
Hope this helps.

My camera fell into water in the beach and it's not coming on

no wonder! he battery would have shorted out first. Beaches are camera destroyers. I would be considering a new camera now as this one will be corroded within a fornight.

You may be able to claim it under home insurance policy as an accident. They will usually allow replacements on personal goods and accidents like this. Definitely worth a try.

I dropped my mx1063 in the sand at the beach. I

This is not a user solvable problem. One thing that should not be done is to turn on the camera when it has been dropped in dirt, sand or water. This will, in your case, grind the dirt around and parts try to move and contaminate additional parts of the camera. It's only worse if water is involved as this will likely cause shorts in electrical areas.
Take the camera to a repair shop and get their opinion on whether it is fixable and if so what they estimate the cost to be. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a new or used camera.

Dark Screen, Lense focus gone and error code: E61:00 - Help!

In this situation (salt water) best thing is rinsing the equipment immadiatelly with tap water and drying it throughly and quickly (with hair dryer etc.) But its been three days, so the internal circuitry and metallic mechanisms are most probably affected from salt water since its highly corrosive. Now, you can send it to your dealer/camera manufacturer for throughly check and repair. I believe nothing you can do right now. And its probably still damp inside, means still affecting by corrosive salt water if you did not already dry it throughly.

Camera is not getting on - after fell in sea water

As long as the xD card was not formatted it is possible to recover the images that were accidently erased or unable to be downloaded to computer. You can go to the following website link and download an image recovery software program that is free of charge.
http://www.z-a-recovery.com/
You want to download a program called Zero Assumption Recovery. It is a very simple program to use and people have had much success in recovering lost images.

Sony cybershot dsc p200 water damage

salt is electrically conductive when in fluid (water) so when it happened i hope you pulled out the battery and protected the delicate lenses. a digital cam, is very delicate but their are companys that repair water damaged goods like mobile phones etc! just look them up in the yellow pages etc... avoid trying to switch it on until it gets repaired, but the mem card should still be fine depending on how long it was wet for! good luck!
