I have samsung 21" TV (CRT), screen look green, exp. skin, face people, but when I give some magnetic speaker, like radio in front of CRT tube, the color look normal, but not all. Just when it near from magnet.
When u put some magnetic thing infront of your tube, colour will change like rainbow. for solution, do the same thing like hold the magnet then clear the rainbow. etc not to close then throw it outside ur panel

If it is a tube type TV, probably needs degaussing. The screen within the crt becomes magnetized or external magnets from speakers are causing a problem. Sometimes changing the direction or position the tv faces causes degauss problems. If moving nearby speakers changes the discoloration, then speakers are too close or TV needs degaussing. Some high-end Asian tvs have E-W adjustment in users menu to correct this problem.
If it is RPTV 3 tube crt TV, maybe a convergence problem.
If it is DLP or LCD rear projection, probably optical engine failure.
What model is TV. Is picture normal in BW with color turned off?
hello.... do you have any speakers near your television? what color is the circle your talking about? Do the green, pink colors are scattered all over the screen and specially on the corners? If you have or had speakers near your tv? then do this try to get a magnet.a magnet on a speaker would do.what you have to do is to place the magnet near the screen of the tv approx. above the green, pink color (turn it on first).you will notice the that the color will react with the magnet try to pull it on the side you will notice that the green, pink color is moving on the same direction do it until its gone.NOTE make sure youll not scratch the screen ok.email me what happened. email@example.com GOODLUCK

about akai tv may be it just coldsolder in crt socket try to solder it thanks inform me
Do you and/or did you have a speaker or magnetic thing next to or on top of your TV? The electron beam inside the picture is steered magneticly so if it gets magnetized they land on the wrong color. The device to fix that is a 'Degaussing Coil', most TV repairmen have one. Another trick I used to do if I was on a call and didn't bring the thing was use a strong magnet near the offending color. Bring it slowly near the face of the picture and flip and turn it as neccesary to 'reverse the magnetism'. It may take some practice to get good at it. It's not permanent, worst case: get a degausing coil.
Your CRT (Picture Tube) screen mask has become magnetized. You need to degauss the CRT. Have you moved you TV lately or at any point had speaker sitting next to it? These are two things that can magnetize the screen mask. Well in any event you will need what is called a degaussing coil to demagnetize the CRT.
Here is the degaussing procedure:
Standing about 10 feet from the TV Screen turn on the degaussing coil which is in a vertical position and rotate it in a circular motion walking towards the TV .
Once about .5 to 1 inch from the TV continue to rotate the degaussing coil and the move away from the TV while still rotating the coil.
Once at the point where you began, position the coil to a horizontal plane and quickly move the coil back about two feet and the turn the coil off.
what you are describing is a degaussing problem. It normally occurs if some Magnetic source has been brought close to your TV. Perhaps you have shifted your TV from part of the room to another? Or to another room? Did you or someone place a magnetic source (Speakers, Tape recorder, Walkie talkie, some toy of your children, etc near or on top of the TV? Just remove it.
And wait for a few days. The problem will get automatically cleared up, as the TV set's Auto Degaussing circuits will clear the color patches.
you must have placed speakers around your tv. your tv tube has gotten magnetized.you will need a degaussing coil to remove those color stains if you do not have a coil call a tech to remove it for you.good luck.
