If the display is displaying what the heater thinks the water temperature is then there is likely a problem in the water temperature sensor or the board that reads it. I would be prepared to take the heater apart to measure values with a volt/ohm meter before calling the Sta Rite technical support number at 888-782-7483. They should be able to help you figure out what part is malfunctioning.
SORRY YOU HEATER IS GONE THE HEAT EXCHANGER HAS ALEAK THIS IS DUE TO POOR WATER CHEMESTRY ,LOW PH, OR SOMEONE USING TABLETS ON THE SKIMMER THIS DAMAGE THE METALS ON THE HEATER
Yes, these pool heaters are designed for use with a spa. They are made to accommodate temperatures for both a pool and a spa running off of the same heater. Check the owners manual for specific instructions.
I would try consulting the owners manual for these pool heaters. They have a very comprehensive troubleshooting guide that you can walk through, but you will need to be looking at the heater.
Thanks a lot. Where is the flame sensor? Is it the stack flue sensor?
