My PS3 is telling me that it "succeeded" in obtaining my IP adress, but now its telling me that an error occured during communication with the server. This is a DNS error.(80710102).what is the problem?
I try to sign in or get online with my ps3 and I keep getting a "DNS error" message with the number 80710102...how do I fix this? I have tried rebooting, disconnecting the wirless connection, and refreshing my wireless source.
i have scanned through and found my wireless router, i have then entered my password and it has started to configure, but it does not connect, it says 'a connection to the access point could not be established. check the security settings for the wireless LAN' it then gives me a code '8013013E'
Hi, i had the same problem but it was fixed by simply re directing my ISP's DNS settings away from Sony's. manually change your DNS settings to the ones below and it should work fine !
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

I had the same problem, then out of the blue it started to work. It worked for 3 months, now it is not working again. I never changed anything at all. I have the ps3 and the xbox 360 same IDNS error on both. I had the ps3 first so I thought it was the ps3. It is something to do with the computer.
