I went online this morning. I had about 500 emails and only 35 bulk mails. Then I came home. The email inbox and entire site was different and I lost everything. Now it has me set up as new account. And already there was 809 in the inbox and 300 bulk. I would ask you please to change the site back to where it was, so that I can check all my emails. In the old site, I had pictures, dolphins, family, jokes since 1998 and now I have lost eveything. I am really upset about this. You can even call me at 303-898-4542. Also i wanted to let you know that my email@example.com is no longer valid, my alt email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I would greatly appreciate it if you can get this problem fixed. I know that its not your fault, but please help me get my email back to where it was. thank you.

If you're getting it in email, then look into your email to filter the trash.
I use earthlink and it has a spam filter which discards the trash.
Don't unsubscribe!! It will reveal to the sender that they have found a valid email address and keep it coming.
You can use the keyboard shortcut keys shift+ select and ctrl + select to select numerous entries from a list, then delete the entire list between selection points or all of the selected entries. In other words, hold down the ctrl or shift key while you select items you wish to delete from the list, continue to hold it until you choose the next item(s) (for ctrl), or the last item in a continuous series (for shift), then release the shift or ctrl key and choose delete to delete the selected items. There is however, a setting in the email options that allows you to have mail items that are deleted from your pc to be also deleted from the server. In other words, they will be permanently removed from your email account, both in your local storage folders in your pc, and also deleted from the online storage servers that your computer connects to to download your email...If you choose the option that these messages are deleted from the online server, then when your laptop connects online and synchronizes the inbox with the online server, the messages should also be removed and the inbox should look like your pc's inbox.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread. If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
Do what I did 6 yrs ago. Dump YA-Hoo mail. It' s not all that useful.
I went w/ inbox.com & have at least 5 unique w/ them. Can use as online only, or do what I do.....
I use Safari as my normal search engine, but I set FFox to open w/ inbox.com sign on page as homepage. I just open FFox & can use it as a dual mail pgrm & 2nd search engine... works well.
Inbox.com is just 10000k more useful as a mail pgrm.
I also have all my email address/ accounts auto load to my own Mail pgrm. (mac mail), u should
have your own mail pgrm besides the online only yaHoo/Hotbox/blueballs or what ever just because
it Works Better that way.
I am not going to go into why, again, for the 1k time... just go & try it out. 5gig free.....
To check the exact reason - we have to follow few steps one by one as follows.
Due to following reasons mails may not reach their destinations,
Other End Problems 1. Email address typed is wrong or does not exist. 2. There is problem with the email address - like inbox capacity is full, incoming mail server is down. 3. Recipient received the email not in inbox rather in bulk/junk box - so tell him/her to check junk/bulk box. 4. Your email address is blocked by them (recipients).
Your End problem ------------------------- 5. You have not clicked the option "Server Authentication" or other configuration problem you made. 6. There is virus problem in your computer creating malfunction for outgoing emails. 7. Your outgoing server problem.
So I am guiding how to check all points one by one tactfully to detect exact reason.
First verify the email address you typed - then you send email to the same email address from your different email. Try to use same mail server (your end) for checking as some time few black listed mail servers are there. You request the recipient to check the bulk/junk box - or send email waiting few hours. Tell the recipient whether your email is blocked or the domain of your email address (as yahoo.com is domain of email email@example.com).
Now this is the very important point out of the all points - please consult with your mail server admin and check whether you have checked the Server Authentication Required option in mail client software like Outlook Express. You please configure the same email in different computer (virus free) - try the same. Wait few ours and send to other email addresses - and check.
I think you may easily rectify the problem. Happy Computing. I think I have been able to answer to solve the problem. Many Many thanks for using Fixya.
Its quite obvious to see such an issue like this happen without an unknown security compromise unless you had mistakenly deleted them.
Yahoo has a 24 Hour policy of resetting your email account back to how it was 24hours ago. If your issue falls within this range, quickly inform the support team to assist you with getting your inbox back.
Lastly i suggest you quickly change your email password.
how many emails are in your inbox?? a lot of times, there are old emails at the bottom that go unnoticed. It happens to me every other day... not trying to sound condescending but try scrolling all the way down, or deleting all the junk that you do not need. or try checking the trash/bulk folder... maybe by deleting some without opening them, the server still sees them as unread and therefore 'new'...
please rate if this helps, or respond for further assistance...thanks
Hi detrio; You can click the link "forgot my password" then you can input your username of the email address you use when you register your account, then check your email inbox for the new password,if its not there, check your spam or bulk for the mail from localreplay. might take about 10mins for them to send it...or you can wait longer
