I understand that the top and bottom light on your machine is blinking at the same time. The top light indicates that you need to empty the coffee drawer and the bottom light indicates that you need to descale the unit. However, if both are flashing aternativly there is something else wronge with the machine.
Please post back so I know exactly what is going on.
Two red lights generally indicate hardware failure. Two green lights indicate two controllers are connected. Both green and red lights will not be lit at the same time. The green light in the middle indicates that the console is turned on. For more help deciphering red light flashing errors, see this guide HERE.
You can't tell by the colors. The Hot wire comes from the panel to the first switch (that might be this switch or it might be the other one). The two Travelers go from one switch to the other switch. The output wire from the second switch goes to the light. So of your three wires - two are travelers and the other one is either the hot wire or the output wire. Here's how to determine which is which before you connect to the switch. Connect red to shiny with a wire nut and put a wire nut on dull (just to cover it). Turn on the power and operate the other switch. If the light will not light (in either position of the other switch), then your red and shiny are your travelers, your test is done. If the light DOES light, then dull is one of your travelers, so repeat the test connecting dull to shiny. If the light does not light, then dull and shiny are your travelers. If if DOES light, then dull and red are your travelers.
..... OK, now you found your travelers. On your switch you will have one terminal on top, and two on the bottom (or one on the bottom and two on the top) Connect your travelers to the two (on top or bottom) the other wire connects to the terminal that is alone on top or bottom. By the way, the only affect of interchanging the travelers is to make the light operate with both switches are in the same or opposite positions.
Good luck and merry Christmas

If you have 4 lights, check your A/V cord. 3 lights is the Red Ring of
Death. Call Microsoft. They have an extended 3 year warranty for this
problem. hope this helps AJ
You should install the software prior to connecting the printer, to make sure the provided drivers are ibstalled and not the generic ones that come with Windows.
I don't have the "one-touch", but on the "all-button" there's a hole on the left side of the unit. A paperclip inserted in this hole will reset the unit. I had a problem with the display on mine and this fixed it.
