SOURCE: I have a LG washer dryer wd1433rd that keeps

First try unplugging the machine for a few minutes and then retry a cycle. If you still get the LE error:

The Hall sensor (part number 6501KW2001A) has failed. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in the US). Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Snap new sensor on and reassemble.

The load balance sensor is likely failed - or the vibration dampers are broken. Check their mounts as well.

I have a LG WM1814CW washer that has started giving me the UE error code. No matter what I do it does not solve the problem. I have even run the machine empty and the problem still comes up. It usually...

You may have a problem with the ball sensor. Look in the back of the washer. On the right side as you're looking at the rear, does the frame look slightly dented in?? If so, you will need to pound out the metal. The reason is that the ball sensor is located on the lower right side of the back panel and if it is pushed in enough, the spinning movement from the tub will knock the ball sensor causing the control board to display UE error code. Good luck

Hi, hope you can help, I have a 4 kg LG Washer / Dyer (model WD - 1433RD). It is displaying "CL" on the readout. Have lost the manual so wondering if this is a simple fix or not?

CL means that the child lock feature is active and the control panel buttons will not respond. For the LG WD1433RD, press and hold the Rinse+ and Pre-Wash buttons together for about 3 seconds to toggle the lock off. For the LG WD14311RD, press and hold Option and Rinse for about 3 seconds. On both washers, there is a small icon between the two buttons needed to toggle the child lock feature on and off. (It's a small face above a padlock.)

The manual as a Djvu file for the LG WD14311RD is available here: http://www.lg.com/uk/support/product/support-product-profile.jsp?customerModelCode=WD-14311RD&initialTab=warranty&targetPage=support-product-profile .

The manual for the WD1433RD is available as a PDF here: http://www.manualsonline.com/ex/thread/view/idThread/80183 .

I hope this helps.

LG inverter Direct Drive 7kg WD11020D - what is "ue"?

UE is the error the washer will display if it detects an unbalanced load. If your LG washer was a model that contained the Ball sensor, it could be a bad part.

My machine keps stopping and giving a 6E message

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error 6E is a ball sensor error which is displayed due to loose Ball Sensor Connector and/or when the Ball Sensor goes bad/is out of order. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
