How to change default message storage location in samsung corby GT-S3653 because it is showing sms memory full after 200 massages even it is having 500 storage capacity

Even though message memory is meant to be 500, it is distributed among inbox, sent items and saved messages. So the entire 500 capacity is not used by inbox

Masseages

Cannot expand capacity, but you must delete your SENT messages. They are taking up the room and leaving you with only a small amount of space for your inbox. Check your outbox and sent msgs and delete them.

Message memory full

hi what the phone is saying is its capable of holding 500 message but in reality this means if you have enough free memory your phone can store 500 messages so what you need to do is delete all the sent/outbox/inbox/drafts message delete all the ones you dont need.
Also delete any pictures you dont need as these take up loads of mem also delete any ringtones that your never going to use as alot of the messages you got free with the phone you never use so make sure you delete any of these that your sure you dont want as these also take up loads of memory once you have done this you should find your phone will work just fine

SMS memory is 500messages however, it gets full even if messages doesnt reach 500

Check out this link below to download a PDF manual, for your phone. Just copy and paste into your browser.

You will have to delete some of you old messages. Why would you want to use up your memory card storing messages? Get a 1g, 2g or up 8g memory card. It will expand all memory. Maybe consider a new phone with more memory capacity. Look at this site for more Samsung support.

Hope this helps, let me know if I can do anything else for you.

Text messages saving to sim rather than phone

go to msgs then settings.

msgs will be saved in your sim first and when the max of msgs in your sim was reached then it will be the time that msgs will be saved in you phone.ü
