The extended service is probably with an insurance company sold by sears so you may have to read the policy and see if you need to contact a service agent for the repairs and then send the account to the company

Most (except German and Asian brands) are made by Whirlpool and are very similar inside. Sounds as though your main motor is gone. YouTube has excellent videos showing how to disassemble. When I did mine, the new motor had same part number as old one, but old one was 1/6 HP and new one was .24 - almost 50% more power.

SOURCE: dishwasher was making terrible grinding

Remove all the filters and looking down into the sump, at approx 10 o'clock you should see a plastic cover with a tx20 screw. Remove the screw and cover, this will expose the pump impellor, check it is free and remove any obstruction (caution advised as there may be a shard of glass etc). With the cap off set a cycle, close the door and immediately open door and reset the unit. (check how to do this from your user manual, usually holding the start button for 5secs, or pressing two buttons simultaneously marked by a line and two dots on the selection panel but models vary). You should hear the pump run and any debris will be expelled into the tank. Check the impellor again, replace the cap and screw. Do a visible check of the tank to see if any obstruction were 'spat out' by the pump. Check your outlet pipe, particularly if it is attached under the sink via a spigot for blockages. Run a prewash or quick cycle to test. I really hope this solves the problem, if you need to repost or comment for additional advise please add the full Enr number. All the best and good luck

SOURCE: Hello, I have

  1. The disc/s must be jammed in the mechanism. Take an old CD and place it just inside the feed slot and feel for the edge of a disc. Gently nudge it up and down and in until the disc moves. The disc should move some and then the cd changer should work.
  2. If this doesn't fix the problem, you may need to disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes to reset the system, then reconnect the negative battery cable. See if this fixes your CD changer problem.
  3. If not, your CD changer may have an internal component which has failed. In this case, you must contact the dealership about fixing the CD changer and/or replacing it.

SOURCE: Service a DVD player in Victoria, B.C.

depending on cost of player may be cheaper to replace than repair---Best Buy etc do repair some equipment---getting parts for most of these units can be impossible and repair usually exceeds the cost of replacing the player.

Your best bet is to contact your service provider as weay not have service center option close to you. Also we don't service this model anymore.

IE error on LDF6810ST, it's not the valve or the controller

Try to check water flow sensor that attached to the water intake plastic thin container. It's located from the inner side therefore you won't see it from the first glance. You have to take it apart then find it from the inner bottom side.

Dishwasher makes grinding noise when running

Sounds like you have debris like broken glass in the chopper assembly of your sump assembly. Best of to call a Certified Repair Company such as Sears if you are not mechanically inclined.

Have you got your dishwasher on an extended drying cycle?

Normally it works for about 10 minutes after the wash cycle is complete - not hours.

Hi there,

I'm sure you can get it replaced. You can call JVC's support line at + 1 (800) 252-5722 and provide them with the postal code of your Victoria, BC location. They would be able to provide you with the nearest service center, and any additional information that you may need.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

It sound like a pump issue. Open the service panel, remove the pump and try to rotate its pulley manually, it should turn freely. In case it doesn't,check if it is clear from any foreign object or it should be replaced. Good luck !
