I just bought a samsung galaxy 8. When i get a voice mail, there's nothing on the phone that shows I have one. How can I get this on my new phone? thanks

What worked for me was to call my phone from another phone and leave myself a voicemail. I then went in and retrieved and deleted that voicemail. Once I hung up from my voicemail service my handsets reset about 10 seconds later.

Hi, I have the same problem. I called the service provider, they left a voice message, which I accessed later and deleted from my voicemail box. This took care of it and I dont have that message on the screen now. I think you can just leave yourself a voice message and access it later and delete it. That should resolve it.

Subscriber is T-Mobile@Home. First, cleared all messages from T-Mobile voicemail.

Now to fix your GE phone:


Push the program key. Select Handset Setup Push the program key Select Default Settings Push the program key Select 1 Yes. Push the program key

press "mute" key to access menu, press the up or down arrow key labeled "caller ID- volume" until you get to "handset setup", press the "mute" key again, press the down or up arrow until you have "defaultsetting" selected, press "mute" key, press "1", then press "mute" once more. At this point your handset will reset clearing the indicator for all the handsets. I've had to do this twice on my phones and it worked every time.

You need to store the voicemail access # by pressing [MENU], [#] [3],[3],[1] on the handset. To access the voicemail, press [TALK], then softkey [VM]. Depending on your service provider, you may need to clear your voice mailbox to remove the notification.
