you can not change it until unless you go back to factory settings when you forgot the current code.by restoring the factory settings the mobile wil come back to the initial setting which was there when you purchased it.copy your phone book and then restore it..
You can restore the factory settings in either of the two ways:
Go to Tools>Settings>Phone>General>Original Phone Settings. Then you will be asked to enter a lock code.By default the lock code for all nokia phones is 12345 unless or other if you have changed the lock code you should remember by this time and enter it.
Or else backup the user data (contacts, messages or SMS, notes, calendar entries, etc) if you’re able to (i.e. the phone is not locked).
1) Power off the phone.
2) Press these 3 keys simultaneously: CALL key, ASTERISK key (i.e. *), THREE key.
3) Don’t release that 3 keys.
4) Press the POWER button to power on the phone again and wait.
5) After the NOKIA logo appears, the “Formatting…” keyword will appear after couple of minutes. Now, you’re safe to release that 3 keys.
Finally, the N73 should have been formatted (hard reset) and ready to configure the phone as if it’s just out of the box.
Hi. If you're pertaining to the security on you're nokia, try turning it off then on the setting just remove the lockcode and siply use the normal lock which dont need any code, but if you want to restart your lockcode then you have bring your cellphone to a nokia care center to be reset or from a local cellphone technician. Hope this Helps
SIM pin code: This is a pin code that locks the sim card until you enter the correct code. This protects your account, even if your sim is put into another handset. To reset it you need the PUK code. Pin Unlock Code (PUK) If you miss keyed (or forget) your SIM Pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the sim will lock up, and you'll need to enter the unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don't try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
