Question about Fujitsu LIFEBOOK S6010 Notebook
Hi I have the above which has correct driver installed and fully recognised by XP Pro SP3. Windows wifi wizard only allows connection to WEP networks and not WPA - doesn't ist WPA as an option. Cant see any additional software or a patch from Fuji to fix. Any ideas ? Thanks
Seems like you have a pretty old laptop. I'm guessing its got a wireless B card installed internally. And wireless B supports WEP most of the time. And if you're lucky the manufacturer of that wireless card may have an update to patch your card so that it will see WAP. Otherwise you can replace that internal card or get a usb / PCMCIA wireless card that supports at least wireless G standard.
