Question about Brother MFC 420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
I'm trying to install the Brother MFC-420CN, and my computer detects the presence of the printer, but not the scanner portion. When I plug it in or turn it on, I'm supposed to hear two "device connect" chimes; I hear one of those and one "device failed to connect" chime. And then the installer doesn't detect the unit, and I can't proceed with the installation.
I have installed it before on this computer using this OS and everything was fine. I'm using WinXP Media Center Edition.
Thanks for any help!
You might have to download new drivers which can be found at the link, too.
