I repair a tv just like yours with same problem. I replace the x and y sustains boards. If you do replace them, please make sure it is disconnected from power outlet.
if you reset the tv in your meun and the soond comes back. your rubber heats sinks have melted. if not you will need 2 boards. you can just take the audio out on the back and hook it to a stereo for sound.
Any indication of power? red light? blinking light? Sounds like the power supply failed if no indicators on. 3 yrs is an average lifespan for these new sets.... unless you are a tech, it's time for a repair shop. Get an estimate first, sometimes its not worth getting an old set fixed...
If the screen is not illuminated this can be from the screen power supply, the main screen driver board, or the screen itself has failed. The service rep will change boards to service this, and adjust as necessary.
