Usually you have a mullion heater around the refrigerator. That stops the sweating on the outside of the refrigerator. Make sure your energy saver button is off. When the switch is on the heater is off.

I have a Siemens KG..V fridge/freezer - seal

This heat is coming from the mullion heater that wraps around the opening of the freezer and refrigerator door openings. This heater is used to eliminate condensation forming around this area. If you have a moisture switch or summer/winter switch, set it to the off or winter position. This should turn the heater off.

This reffrig freezes in the freezer but does not cool well in the refrig. whats wrong?

The most likely cause is that you have a defrost system failure or the evaporator fan is not operating. If the fan is turning it is most likely operating. To troubleshoot the defrost system, here are some links that should help you: The defrost heater is easy to check with an ohm meter. http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/freezer/check/defrostheater.php If you have continuity, then it is good.

http://www.ehow.com/how_4504020_test-refrigerator-defrost-timer.html is instructions on how to test the timer.

http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/refrigerator/check/defrosthermo.php is instruction on how to test the defrost thermostat.

You should also check to make sure the the condenser coils are clean and that air flow is good over it. I.E. the fan is operating, and not a lot of debrie on or around the condenser coils.

Hope this helps.

The refrigerator portion of refrigerator is not working but the freezer is working fine.

Look in back of freezer and see if you see ice formed. If you do, it's in the defrost timer, thermostat or heater.
If it has no ice-check the evaporator fan motor and make sure it's running.
One last thing: check and make sure the refrig and freezer is at factory settings. Sometimes people turn them up or down.

My kenmore elite refrig keeps leaking water from what appears to be condensation. It gets so bad that the ice maker door freezes shut and water actually drips on the floor. The freezer is set to 0 while...

The high level of condensation is due to constant opening of the fridge when the frost develops. It is required to defrost off the condensation and if this has an auto mode timer for defrost , then it is possible that it is not working.
The water must drain out to the drain tank but since it is formed out of the freezer the water flows out of the collection tray.

Water collects on shelves in refrig.

sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all taht ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youl melt everything) or by pouring hot water donw the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine
