Do some gave the instruction manual for the Kelvinator FD830 Freezer. I am not sure how to set the temp on it?

Locate the Temperature Control Knob: The temperature control knob is typically located inside the freezer compartment. It allows you to adjust the temperature settings.

Understanding the Knob:
For Top Mount ™ Models: The temperature control knob is usually located in the refrigerator section. At higher altitudes (e.g., 1000 meters above sea level), set the refrigerator temperature control to one-half setting warmer than MID.

For Bottom Mount (BM) Models: Adjust the refrigerator temperature using the bottom knob.
Setting the Temperature:
Turn the knob clockwise (usually towards the "colder" side) to lower the temperature.
Turn the knob counterclockwise (towards the "warmer" side) to raise the temperature.

Adjusting the fridge compartment temperature may cause a small change in the freezer temperature.
Remember to allow some clearance around the freezer for proper ventilation.

RF4287HARS/XAA freezer temp set at -8,temp inside freezer is 20

If your RF4287HARS/XAA freezer temperature is set at -8 but the temperature inside the freezer is 20, there may be a few possible causes:
  1. Check the door seal: Make sure that the freezer door is sealing properly. If the seal is damaged or not closing properly, warm air can enter the freezer and cause the temperature to rise.
  2. Check for blockages: Make sure that there are no blockages in the air vents that could be preventing cold air from circulating properly. Blocked air vents can cause the temperature inside the freezer to rise.
  3. Check the condenser coils: Make sure that the condenser coils on the back of the refrigerator are clean and free of dust and debris. Dirty coils can cause the compressor to work harder than normal, which can lead to temperature fluctuations.
  4. Check the temperature sensor: There may be an issue with the temperature sensor in the freezer. If the sensor is not working properly, it may be reading the temperature incorrectly and causing the freezer to run too warm.
If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact a professional repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

Gaffers and Sattler oven temp fluctuates drastically

It sounds like your Gaffers and Sattler oven may have a problem with the thermostat or temperature sensor. These components help regulate the oven temperature and can cause fluctuations if they are not functioning properly. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Make sure the oven is properly calibrated. Some ovens have a calibration adjustment that can be used to fine-tune the temperature. Consult the manual or manufacturer's website to see if your oven has this feature, and follow the instructions to calibrate the oven if necessary.
  2. Check the oven thermostat. The thermostat controls the heating element and can cause temperature fluctuations if it is not working correctly. You may need to replace the thermostat if it is faulty.
  3. Check the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor measures the oven temperature and sends a signal to the thermostat to adjust the heating element as needed. If the sensor is not functioning properly, it can cause temperature fluctuations. You may need to replace the sensor if it is faulty.
  4. Check the heating element. The heating element is responsible for generating the heat inside the oven. If it is not working properly, it can cause temperature fluctuations. You may need to replace the heating element if it is faulty.

How do I set my settings for the frig and freezer?

Hi friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that you are having difficulty with the temperature settings on your Frigidaire refrigerator. Depending on your refrigerator style on a top mount there should be a cold control on the inside of the fresh food side that would be used to adjust your temperature. On a side by side or French door bottom mount the temperature control is located on the front control panel. Typically, as a "+" or "-" symbol to adjust the temperature. If any adjustments are made to the temperature, please allow 24 hours for the temperature to set properly. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

Can't fined the proper setting for the freezer dial?

Almost all freezer controls are manufactured to control temperature to the proper temperature control if you rotate CCW , notice the position and then rotate CW, notice the position and then go the the mid position. If temperature is not maintaining the required temperature, you may need a new temperature control thermostat installed. Before you replace the thermostat, check to make sure you have not overloaded the freezer compartment and, If you have an external condensing coil, that it is lint/dust free. Often times people seldom clean the external condensing unit and causes the loss of freezer temperature control. It is important to keep the condensing coil clean because that is where the heat is rejected to the surrounding air. Hope this helps.

The freezer on my Kenmore Elite Trio has stopped freezing. All my food is thawing. How do I set the freezer temperture at the coldest setting?

If the temperature is the problem this could be the solution

Problems with Temperature
If the refrigerator or freezer is not cooling properly, check temperature settings and air vents and ensure there is adequate room for proper airflow. Factory-recommended temperature settings are 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 degrees Celsius) for the refrigerator; and 37 degrees Fahrenheit (3 degrees Celsius) for the freezer.
If you need to adjust the temperature, do it one degree at a time and wait 24 hours before making additional adjustments. Check the air vents and make sure nothing is blocking them. Finally, if your refrigerator or freezer is too full, there will not be adequate room for air to circulate and cool properly. If these all check out, the problem could be with one or more compressor components and will require professional repair.

Hope this will help you.

I can not set the temprature differantial of my honeywell beutler thermostas

well back when i worked on honeywell controllers, you don't set differentials on thermostat you set the temperature and it has its own differentials like + or - 1 or 2 degrees to the set temperature they don't let you play with this setting, you set your temperature and it will maintain around that temperature you shouldn't need to change the differentials around that temperature as controller does what the heater needs to get to the temperature you require setting the differential closer to set temperature will make the unit cycle a lot more and coast you more and having it to far away can let the conditioned area start to get back out of comfortable range so they set these in factory and you shouldn't be able to change them as they are set to how it should work to wrok properly so i wouldn't change them even if you could!
