Same problem with a Vivitar X029. Take out the battery, then try to push the memory card further down into the slot. Replace the battery and close the door.

When a put a new memory card in the camera it keeps saying memory full how can i get rid of that

The camera is not seeing your new memory card, the memory full is referring to the cameras own internal memory. go into the menu and try to find the function that changes your memory from camera to the card.

Wont accept a new 2GB memory card, its saying memory full.

Unfortunately, this camera will only accept up to a maximum of 1GB for a memory card.

So you will need to use a smaller memory card.

It's not in the documentation, but it should be.

Camera saying memory full to a brand new memory card.

You may have a defective memory card. Have you tried it in a different device? Do you have a card reader on your printer or computer? If so, try inserting the card and see if your computer can read the card, and write files to the card.

Camera says my memory is full

It can only take a 2gb memory card. anything higher than that it won't be able to use. The reason it's saying the memory is full is because it's still using the built in 15mb (something like that)

Im trying to use the memory card but the camera says its full... I deleted everything and used a brand new card but it says the same thing. I even tryed formatting the camera..

Is it telling you the the card specifically is full or just full. Some cameras need to be switched from onboard memory to memory card. Also, if you are using a high capacity memory card make sure your camera can take a hgih memory card. If you put a 2 or 4 gb card in and it says full that means your camera can't use those cards.
