SOURCE: How do we oil the

I think the best solution is to first turn it off and unplug it, then, carefully spray it with a can of compressed air, such as you can get at an office supply store. I have done this a few times and it works fine afterwards, which includes lightly spraying into the looper area and at other inside parts. As far as oiling goes, the left platform of the machine opens up without unscrewing anything, by pushing it to the left. There, is what appears to be about 6 small holes for oil, including one that is on top of a metal tube that runs underneath the back part of the platform where the fabric runs across. I oiled these and it works fine. Please let me know if you find anything further that can be done at home, for I would also like to know. Thank you.

It has been suggested to bring it to a dealer for maintenance once a year.

Printable Baby Lock Imagine Serger threading guide

Babylock has a quick reference threading guide and the user manual on the Imagine product page: https://babylock.com/machines/serger/imagine . The direct link to the threading guide is https://babylock.com/resources/5024/download ; the user manual is https://babylock.com/resources/5023/download . The step by step directions are in the User's Manual starting on page 10 (page 12 of the PDF). You should print pages 10-13 and then use the portions of the guide that are appropriate for the type of stitch you are using.

I hope this helps.

How do i replace a bulb in the imagine babylock

Unplug the machine.

Open the front cover and cutting blade cover.

Remove the light bulb and replace with same (15w/120v) screw-in type or if the machine uses the bayonet type (no screw threads) 10w/240v.

There is a bulb remover that you can purchase/order from a BabyLock dealer.

If you cannot get the bulb out, call a dealer and ask if someone there can help you and when could you come in and not have to leave the serger.

Need owners manual

You can order the manual from any Babylock Sewing Machine dealer, look in the Yellow Pages for one local to you, if there is none then look in the 800 pages for Tacony, they are the manufacturer of the Babylock machine, I think they are in Fenton, Missouri.
