Sound like you may have a corrupted Panda installation. The first rule of software problems is trying to uninstall and re-install the software to see if that corrects the issue
Restores are only recorded when a system change is made or you manually set one. Since panda is a program and not a system change it will not set a restore date. Uninstall panda. Go to c:\program files and delete Panda Software folder. In Vista go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\ (where user is your user account) and delete all folders related to panda. In XP that same folder will be C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data
