IF THE CONDENSATE DRAIN OPENING IN THE PAN (JUST UNDER THE COIL) IS CLOGGED OR THE CONDENSATE DRAIN LINE IS CLOGGED THE CONDENSATE HAS NO WHERE TO GO AND JUST BUILDS UP IN THE PAN. WITH THE COIL SO CLOSE THE BUILD UP WILL FREEZE USUALLY FREEZING THE FAN BLADES IN THE ICE ALSO.

DEFROST THE PAN, CLEAR THE CLOG AND MAKE SURE THE DRAIN IS CLEAR BY POURING SOME WATER DOWN THE DRAIN AND SEE IF IT MAKES IT TO THE DRIP PAN UNDERNEATH THE REFRIGERATOR.

GE Profile Refridgerator side warm, freezer ok?

Fridge gets cold air from freezer to cool it. Your freezer is fine but not enough cold air is getting into fridge compartment. U have some dampers or louvers that direct air flow to fridge and if they are not set properly cooling will not be adequate. Check those out.

Check your ducting and hoses going to the left side. Maybe one came loose.
Maybe a door towards left of heater case is not opening. Watch the cables for proper movement when operated. Maybe you can spot the problem. Good luck.

Refridgerator side by side not getting cold

When we had this happen, the air vent between the freezer and fridge side was blocked with ice and wasn't letting the cold air come thru from the freezer. That's what cools the fridge. Our vent was up at the top between the two.

Refridgerator is not cooling. I hear the fan but there is no air flow

Ok when you say you hear the fan and no air flow, am I to understrand if you put your hands in front of the vents in your freezer no air comes out ?

The noise you are probably hearing is the compressor motor running (a humming sound) - you may have a bad evap fan - you will need to have your system checked and check the evaporator fan motor - if this is not working there will not be any cooling and air flow. they might also want to check your control board.

Refridgerator not cooling

is it side by side or freezer on top/bottom...check to see if the fan inside the freezer is running when the compressor is running..also check to see if ice is covering the evaporator coils.. the freezing should be even with a thin layer of ice/ not partically melted..sometimes the ice forms in the vents and stops the air flow...to review...check and see if fan is working in freezer
check to see if vents are clogged......good luck!!

Ed27dsxdw01 side by side fridge

I had this "problem" for a little while. Thought I was gonna trash the fridge and start over anew. Turned out I had a bag of greens sitting up along the top left side of the fridge that was blocking the vent where the air from the freezer side blows in to cool the fridge side. Clear off the top left side of your shelf to start with (would be good if they included this "tip" in the owner's manual).

Freezer works but refridgerator warm

you could find ice behind the back panel - worth a check. however the problem is probably ice in the return vent from fridge to freezer and the only way to cure is to switch off and leave for a day with doors open. if im right and you try this, if it re-occurs you may have a problem with the defrost system
