Question about Garden
My 2 cycle string trimmer will not start and if it does it stalls or runs rough. I have pulled and cleaned the plug and drained the fuel (I left the fuel in the tank last winter, my bad) I cleaned the air filter and checked the spark inhibitor screen which was fine. I put it all back together and put fresh fuel in the tank, pumped the primer bulb and it still won't start.
-Kill switch is shorted out-check the wire and connections.
-Buy a new plug.
-Primer bulb needs to be replaced.
-Fuel filter needs to be replaced, and it's located inside the gas tank so it's a bit tricky to replace.
-Try starting it without the air filter attached.
Is it possible an incorrect mix of gas/oil was used (or straight gas) which in turn ruined the motor?
