Anybody know technicians in NJ area for Xerox 700, please

Hi Oscar,

I see you bought a used 700i. I assume you didn't receive a maintenance agreement with the product.
I have some advice for you:
You can purchase a maintenance agreement on Xerox equipment new or used.
First contact:
Xerox Corp
101 Woodcrest Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003
(856) 651-2000
Explain that you have a Xerox 700i without a maintenance agreement
and you would like a certified Xerox Technician to come onsite and
inspect your device to see if it qualifies for a maintenance agreement.
If your device can qualify it is more economically friendly to purchase
an agreement than it would be to have a tech go there and repair it once
Simply put, the one service call could be more expensive than a 1 year
maintenance agreement.
I hope this helps and if you need more info get back to me...

Driver doesn't recognize finisher pro on xerox dc240

The new Windows operating software and some other Windows OS may not work with older devices. Call Xerox for a driver compatible with the Windows you are using.

Need to remove the finisher from a xerox 2636

Open the front door, there is an opening to the left under the transport . You reach in that opening and there will be a plastic block about 3 or four inches in the finisher. You pull that latch toward youself and that will inlatch the finisher from the machine.
Unless it is an office finisher in which you would have to remove thumb screws under a plastic cover on front, disconnect the plugs from the finisher to the machind and then lift the finisher up off the rails .

Xerox DocuColor problem

The only thing I can tell you to do is turn off the machine. On the back of the finisher, unplug the finisher from the processor and power up the machine, it will reconfigure, plug and play like, and send the pages to the center tray.
Once you do that. Go into machine status and into faults. Print out a fault page and tell me the finisher/stapler code coming up so I can let you know exactly whats going on.
I hate that software puts a machine down for functions you do not 100 percent need.
