I get a pop up sign on my set that states..."The system is experiencing above normal temperatures. Unless corrected it will shot itself off..." The TV is next to an A/C vent. I have it off for 8-12 hours over night. When I turn it on again the sign pops up again(within a couple of minutes). I've left the tv on for a couple hours with the pop up flashing on and off and it hasn't shot itself off yet.

This seems it could be a temperature issue either the temperature sensor is malfunctioning or the cooling fans aren't spinning at the right speed or not spinning at all. It would be best if you check the owners manual and look for the system reset feature, this may work, or the other option would be to hit the reset button.

Where do you switch between Paper Chart Symbols and Simplified Symbols in the ENCs?

ENCs, or Electronic Navigational Charts, are digital versions of paper nautical charts that are used for navigation. In ENCs, different symbols are used to represent features such as buoys, obstructions, and shorelines.

The switch between paper chart symbols and simplified symbols in ENCs can typically be found in the settings or display options of the software or app that is being used to view the charts.
For example, in ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System), the settings for symbol display can be found in the "Chart Display" or "Chart Display Options" menu, and there may be a setting to switch between "Standard" or "Simplified" symbols.
Similarly in other ENC software like ENC viewer, it can be found in the settings or display options and have the option to turn on/off the Simplified or Detailed Symbol display.

It's important to note that the availability of this option may depend on the specific software or app that you are using, and you may also want to check the user manual or documentation of the software for specific instructions on how to switch between different symbol sets.

Why are these lights on in my 2008 xl7

These icons are yellow and as such do not generally mean there is immediate danger, but rather to alert you that service is needed when lit. There may be little or no change to the way the car drives or handles when these colored indicators are on (Check Engine, Service Engine Soon, etc.).

Red icons on the other hand indicate a serious condition that requires immediate attention when lit. This usually means stopping and shutting the engine off (Oil, Temperature, Brake, etc.).

The icon to the right of the Tachometer is the "Anti-lock Brake System" (ABS) indicator. This is not the normal state when lit. This means there is a problem with the antilock brakes but your regular brake system is working. You may experience longer stopping time in a "panic stop" due to locking up the brakes.

The Icon above the Odometer indicates the "Traction Control System" (TCS) or "Traction Assist" (TA) is *not* engaged. This is NOT the normal state. The TCS / TA is a secondary function of ABS, so it is not unusual to see these come on at the same time as a result of the same problem.

These systems are in cars made in the last 15 or so years and provide safer starts and stops via computer control of the application of the brakes. You should bring the vehicle to a trusted mechanic or dealer for proper diagnosis and an estimate for repairs. Until then, the vehicle *should* operate as normal, except in cases of slippery roads or emergency / panic stopping.

I hoipe this helps and good luck!

I have the carrier infiniti system. When my thermostat reaches the set temperature it doesn't always shut off. I shut off the main control to let it reset. It works for a while and then it starts

Carrier Infinity system is a variable speed unit that will just slow down as it approaches set point. Unless it overshoots the set temperature (you have it set on 72 and the temperature keeps rising above 72) this just sounds like normal operation.

Daewoo dbs-182lh starts and stops by itself.

If it's cooling to the temperature that you have it set for or the comfort level you have it set for, it's normal for it to cut off, once it reaches that temperature and holds it for 5 minutes. When the room temperature rises above the comfort level you have it set for, it turns back on. If this is what you are describing, it's functioning normally.

We have a danby dwc283bls wine cooler that no longer cools, and the compressor gets warm (above normal) does it need to be recharged

that's always a possibility but not always the case. The thermostat may not be cycling correctly or set wrong. The condenser could be dirty or if there is a fan, it may not be running. Freeze ups can also cause an "Out of temp." condition. Check it out.

System is experiencing above normal temperatures unless corrected system will automatically shutdown. see manual for re-installation

Hi,I will suggest to check if fans are running properly, also dust them out with an air pressure can ,they could be filled with dust that is blocking them or making them slower. If they are not working properly after that you will need to replace them.Found some right here: http://www.discount-merchant.com/SAMSUNG-Cooling-Fan-Set-p/1173797.htm also check cooling sensor it seems to be a common failure.

Fridge intermittently bangs like very loud champagne cork popping

Sometimes when fridge first starts they can sound like water dripping into hot oil or deep fryer, this is caused by liquid refrigerant returning to compressor which has hot oil in sump, this is normal and no need for alarm, unless the fridge is not keeping temperature.

Thank you. there are some other signs i don't know about.

The black triangle means AUTO, means the fan speed adjust by itself from high-mid-low speed depending in room temperature but the unit is cooling for this function the same COOL mode. Plasma is in the remote control but it never mention in the manual.
If the unit dont cool check your temperature setting and mode setting it should be in cool mode and temperature setting should be 18C. But if still don't cool check some error code like blinking light at the indoor panel check how many blink appears to get the correct error code.. If the light is blinking 3 times it means that the room air or coil sensor is defective.
