This is what you do. This is pretty easy fix.
If your
navigation device displays a cross after you switch it on, it means that the TomTom application is not installed correctly.
Note: It is normal for the navigation device to show a cross while it is connected to the
computer.
The solution depends on which TomTom
software is used for updating. Check which software your
navigation device uses for getting updates.
Devices using MyTomTom for updatesFor navigation devices that use MyTomTom, reset your device.
Devices using TomTom HOME for updates For
