I can't hear my phone ring , the volume is up to max what wrong

I have a Motorola E1075 the volume is at max on all settings but can hardly hear it. You have to put your ear up to the speaker to hear it.
I have a bluetooth earpiece and the volume on that is good tho.

Same issue. When a call comes in there is no ringing. Tried phone settings to no avail.

My volume is at max on my motorola v3c razr, and I can barely hear it ring.

I don't know how old the phone is but the ringer may have dirt or grime in it or it could be that it is failing and this would need a tech to replace.
Oh !!! have you fitted a leather case recently?
maybe the outlet on the phone is being covered by the case

Just got a new LG 9900 EnV for my daughter and the volume is much lower than the 8600 that I have. We have tried every setting but nothing helps.
