Question about Samsung HC-R4755W 47" HDTV
Immediately after plug in, TV makes a static noise for 1 second then the standby mode red led blinks 6 times then goes off for a couple of seconds and then the cycle repeats, I checked the voltages on power supply board and it seems that the voltages are going up like it is intended to start up (this happens while it makes the noise) but then something makes the voltages to shut down. What is pulling the voltages down? or it is just a faulty power supply board?. Where can I get the schematic?
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

I think you have a fault on the chroma board and on the picture frame board. If you can trace it yourself try these two locations otherwise call out a competant technician. hope this helps.

I suggest doing a google search using the tv model # and brand.
I have learned myself that different big screen tvs seem to each have their own common problems. I have read before of power supply issues that cause what your describing.

Check the capacitors on the power supply first. If any have domed tops or signs of leakage, replace them. I had two go bad on mine. Call electronics parts supply stores first as these are not your average capacitors.

If the lamp has been replaced I would think the Lamp ballast would be most likliest followed by the color wheel and then the Digital board. You can get any part needed for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com just leave them a email they respond quickly.
