Question about Kenmore Dryers
If the dryer won't heat at all, the problem is usually a faulty thermal fuse or a faulty heating element. The thermal fuse is located just inside the back of the dryer and is usually mounted on the exhaust duct. It is about an inch long. Both the thermal fuse and heating element can be tested with an ohm meter. Check for continuity, if there is none, the component must be replaced. Hope this helped and best wishes.
