My picture messaging isnt working but my internet does

In order for you to send/receive pictures, your MMS must be activated. You use GPRS for internet and MMS for sending/receiving multimedia messages. Call your mobile service provider to activate it.

You need the correct settings ...
GPRS settings are provided by Service Provider.
Call your Service Provider then ask them to send you the GPRS settings of your mobile.
They will send them to you as a text message, when you receive them just save them and run ..
Then turn your mobile off for 4 minuetes ,then turn it on.
Now you can use GPRS service and browse internet.

I keep receiving "502 Bad

You either have no data plan or your phone's WAP/internet settings are incorrect.
Can you browse the web on your phone? Send MMS (picture/video messages)?
A quick call to your carrier is all it takes to get them to send the settings to your phone. They can also run you through step by step what the settings are.

My mobile in hanking continously and mms is not received properly.

Test if your new device needs settings for sending multimedia messages (MMS) and browsing the Internet.
Note: Before beginning, please verify with your operator or service provider that MMS and/or browsing are included in your service package.
Step 1: Test to see if your device needs MMS settings
If your Nokia device has a camera, take a picture and send it to your own number. Wait a moment to see if it arrives.
* If you receive the message, your MMS settings are fine. Move on to step 2.
* If the sending fails, skip to step 3.
Step 2: Test to see if your device needs mobile browsing settings
Press the zero key of your Nokia device for three seconds.
* If your device connects to your operator site or any other home page, you have the settings. You don't need to download settings - just start browsing and messaging!
* If you receive an error message, move on to step 3.
Step 3: Get settings from the Settings Wizard
In case you have the Settings Wizard on your device, follow the next steps, otherwise move on to step 4:
* On the phone press the Menu key.
* Scroll to and select Tools. (Note: The location of the Settings Wizard varies according to device)
* Scroll to and select Sett. wizard to launch the Nokia Settings Wizard.
* Scroll to and select Operator.
* Follow the wizard's on screen steps to automatically configure the phone with the required operator service settings.
* Repeat step 1 and 2 above to verify that the settings are now working correctly.
If you experience further problems, move on to step 4.
Step 4: How to get settings from your Operator
Please contact your operator or service provider directly or via their internet pages for the settings.

My friends are trying to send me pictures via a sms message but i don't receive any of the messages at all

Hi this is a very common problem and usually happens if you have changed you phone to another network.

all you need to do is call your service provider and tell them what make and model of phone you have got then ask them to send you the latest mms and wap settings, they wont charge for sending these to you and they will send them via text message.
this will then update your phone to the latest media message settings and internet settings, once this is done you will be able to send and receive what ever you like.

you can sometimes send the settings to your phone yourself from your service providers web site but not all service providers offer this service so you would need to check, the easiest way would be to give them a call and ask them to send you the latest settings.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Cant send or receive mms on phone. still wants telstra but im optus now

Hi,

Depending on what type of fone you have there is a setting in:

Messages/Message Settings/SMS-MMS

In here you will find a command called MMS Centre.

Simply change this to that of your service provider and activate.

My Samsung SGH A767 wont send or receive pictures with text. I have deleted all my text messages and deleted most of my pictures off my phone but when I try to send or receive a picture is said error

To send pics you must have MMS activated on your phone number from the service provider. Call up the helpline of the service provider and ask them to activate MMS. Beware, it is very expensive to use MMS, so, ask them about the charges before it is activated.

Cannot send or receive picture messages

Well you have to have internet to receive pics from the internet sent from people but thats on trac phones not sure why on your's but as far you not sending pics via bluetooth or mms I dont know your phone should still be under warranty and they should have replaced it 4 you if you bought it with a malfunction. other than that try rebooting your software to see if that helps it may not be a hardware problem.
