SOURCE: print orientation

If you are printing from the included software, it has options for labels with vertical printing. If printing from a third party program, you can go to the dirver settings and change the printing orientation.

SOURCE: when using touchpad screen orientation

An upside down image - this is caused by unintentionalpressing Ctrl-Alt plus the down arrow key. Restore by pressing Ctrl-Alt plus the up arrow key. ALSO To change the display from portrait to landscape Press Ctrl-Alt plus a left or right arrow key.

Testimonial: "thanks that solved it but not sure how it was caused as it happened when only using touchpad. "

There is a figure of a lock enclosed in a circle on my iPhone and there is no body or message on my emails. Pls help. Thank you.

If the lock with the circle is actually a circular arrow around the lock
Something like

it means that your phone is in Portrait Locked mode.

Will your phone go into Landscape orientation if you rotate the screen?

If this is the case then to unlock the orientation...

Double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar.
Swipe left to right to scroll to the the orientation lock.
Tap it to lock or unlock.

Not sure what you mean about the messages.

Hello Donna,

To change the orientation of the printer from landscape to portrait follow these simple steps;

- open any document and go to print from the file menu
- when the printers settings window opens click 'properties'
- In the next up coming windows you can see menus like 'main, page setup, effects' profiles
maintenance etc.
- click 'page setup'
- There you can see 'page size' and 'orientation'
- change the 'orientation' from landscape to portrait
- click ok and print

Check your paper size/orientation dial on the paper tray you are using. I believe this machine uses this dial to tell the machine what paper size and orientation is loaded. Make sure the dial matches the size and direction.

Double check paper orientation when you put paper into the feeder and how the paper is loaded.

The orientation of the page in the feeder and the page in the drawer should match.
