A black rectangle about the size of the area for making picture adjustments appears in the picture even after any adjustment is made. We can not make the black rectangle go away.
I have the same problem Post a new problem

When i got to turn off closed saptioning in menu there is no option for off, just c1-4 and t1-4. How do i turn it off or how do i reset to orginal settings.

Mike,
Go into menu settings, closed caption and turn off closed caption... What you're seeing is the text box of closed caption.

for the problem of rosez select T2 and C1.. after if the problem same. reset the EEPROM using a remocon on remocon press both picturemode & display. u see the instruction/selection of the service mode. accept the setting u want, by pressing ok & display. email me if some problem persist. for my email see @ my profile. tnx
