Question about Maytag Performa PAV3200
My 2 year old washer has been doing great until I recently heard a grinding noise when the agitator started the wash cycle. I've always been doing medium sized loads. During the rest of the wash cycle it makes no noise at all. What could be the problem? How do I fix this?
The agitators are a pop-on fit. Make sure that the agitator is firmly seated on the shaft. Lift it up and if it moves easily adjust it to the splines on the shaft and press it back into place.
