Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H9 Digital Camera
Guys - I just recevied a new H9 today. Was using it and decided to turn
the flash off. Later on I wanted to turn it back on and I got the
famous "flash settings cannot be changed" error message. I found the
problem. I had turned on the "continuous shooting" option as I wanted
to see how fast it would take photos continuously. When that option is
on, you cannot use the flash so therefore you cannot change the flash
settings. I put the camera back in "single-shot" mode and now the flash
works fine. I hope this fixes your issue.

Me too! I've only had it for a week and so far that message has come on twice and I look like a dork in front of people waiting for their picture to be taken!! I was able to get rid of the error message by initializing the camera in Home, which I think its like a reset. But I cant be doing that all the time, there must be something I'm missing....anywayz, hope someone has a better solution to this!!
